Aunt Debbie’s Crock Pot Pear Butter

Place 2 quarts of peeled and diced pears in crock pot. In a medium bowl mix the following: 2 1/2 cups sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon allspice 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon cloves 1/4 teaspoon salt Pour sugar mixture over pears.
